I’m pretty pleased with Web Designer. I have had a chance to work with it and it is very easy to use, especially if you have any experience with other software programs, such as publishing or photography software. The documentation is also very helpful. There were a few things I couldn’t figure out, but I was able to find the information in the help section. The number of templates is somewhat limited. None of them fit my needs, but it is very easy to customize them. I was able to create a site that doesn’t look anything like the templates.
I haven’t used any other web development software, so I can’t compare. Xara Web Designer provides an easy way to get a website up and running in a short period of time at a low cost.
